Map and Directions to Downtown
GENERALLY:
This area of Lincoln involves numbered and lettered streets ('O' Street is
our main street). The State Capitol Building (16th and K) is very tall and
a great landmark. It can be seen from most spots in the city. Through streets
South of 'A' Street are South Street then Van Dorn Street. Van Dorn is the
street of the Festival. Look for the Three
Cascading Trees.

FROM I-80 TO IRVING REC CENTER
If you are coming in on I-80: (I-80 runs along the North
edge of Lincoln)
Coming off I-80 you take the Downtown I-180 to end up on 9th street. Follow
9th through downtown Lincoln past K, A, and South streets to Van Dorn where
you hang a 'louie.' 2010 Van Dorn Street; look for the Three
Cascading Trees. The West O, 27th street, and Airport exits will take
you to different motel areas, yet fairly
close. The downtown motels may be a bit
pricey.

FROM Hi-Way 2 or Hi-Way 77 TO DOWNTOWN LINCOLN
If you are coming in from the south on Hi-Way 77 or 2:
(Hi-Way 2 runs along the South edge of Lincoln and leads to Downtown Lincoln.)
Hi-Way 77 will meet Hi-Way 2 at 14th (Burger King), turn LEFT onto Hi-Way
2 so you are headed West. Hi-Way 2 will turn into 10th street. Right after
the road splits, you'll see Van Dorn Street at the light. Hang a 'ralph.'
